I was awarded a grant for FY 2019 to work on a memoir in essay and host writing workshops in Mankato.

As part of the “Mirrors & Windows” Fellowship, I will be developing a Young Adult novel project.

MPWW was recently awarded a 2018 Arts Achievement Award from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council for their outstanding work.

My poem "The Pachuco Himself Considers the Audacity of Language" is currently featured in Silverwood Park's Poetry Trail Installation.
